Welcoming our new consultant, Coralie

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I am a 29-year-old French expatriate with Indian and Madagascan roots living in the UK. Bristol-based, I am passionate about growing business through corporate networking and communication. I hold a Linguistics and English Literature degree, and I have an aptitude for languages. I hold a breadth of experience across a range of corporate environments and industries, from start-ups to large-scale organizations.

Outside of work I am a true culinary enthusiast and I am adventure prone; hiking and outdoor climbing, as well as travelling solo through the Middle-East, Africa and Central Asia. I considerably value  human qualities such as altruism and empathy, and I am a strong believer in environment-oriented solutions.

What are your interests in innovation and technology?

Through my previous professional experiences I have been confronted to different settings, countries and sectors, and I have particularly enjoyed learning about new technologies, processes and industries. I have experienced how modernization and science can positively impact the environment and vulnerable communities whilst working in Madagascar. I’ve also witnessed first hand how technology helps break down barriers, bring people together, and that it does not just benefit the few, but can actually improve the quality of life and standard of living for all.

What’s your speciality?

My speciality is multicultural linguistics; I am fluent in three very different languages, and I enjoy exploring the intricate nature of languages and how they create a complex system of communication. Establishing nuances of various social or cultural situations makes me very socially adaptable and a strong attentive communicator whose audience can relate to.

Anything you want to add?

We are currently living in an age where innovative technologies are at the forefront of everyday life, and being a part of this rapidly changing and vibrant sector is truly inspiring to me 🙂
